Assistant Bridal Store Manager

We are looking for a strong leader and sales manager to guide our team and play an integral role in selling our clients' wedding gowns and other accessories.


The role is perfect for a strong, driven, forward-thinking leader with exceptional customer service. The primary responsibility is to build, support sales goals, and mentor the team while embodying the company's culture. This is a fast pace position, so you must be detailed oriented, a great communicator in English and French. And passionate about supporting and empowering women while making their bridal dreams come true.

What the job entails:

  • Provide an exceptional styling experience to all brides and their party members.
  • Help the Store Owner hit financial marks and operational objectives.
  • Be a leader! Train and coach: develop the staff to ensure their success while building the MCB team culture.
  • Collaborate with Store Owner to execute strategic sales plans.
  • Assist with implementing new business ideas relating to all things Ma Cherie Bleue.
  • Availability Weekends, especially Sundays

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & French: Must exercise a professional and friendly approach with clients, designers and exterior sources in both written and oral forms.
  • Critical thinker who can solve opportunities effectively and timely
  • An active listener and can make leadership decisions
  • A good team player and coach who knows when it's necessary to loop in senior staff and ask for assistance and is humble enough to ask for support when needed.
  • A confident leader that can drive sales and inspire staff to do the same
  • Responsible for tracking and receiving clients’ orders, put out new stock and manage inventory control.
  • Able to multitask, keep organized, and focus on detail.
  • A confident, calm attitude who can perform well under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 to 3 years of retail/sales management preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Word & Excel, and knowledge of Shopify e-commerce systems is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of retail operations such as sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and store budget preparation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and be a constructive part of a team
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends
  • Ability to lift 4 lbs. constantly; kneel or squat frequently; stand for extended periods.
  • Represent Ma Cherie Bleue at bridal shows and events.
  • Organize collaborative projects with outside sources.

Hours: 25.00 to 40.00 hours

Part & Full-time Stylists

Ma Cherie Bleue is expanding its team and is seeking full & part-time bridal sales associates for the boutique.
Our most successful sales associates are energetic about their work and are self-motivated. They have a passion for all things bridal and have a working knowledge of the latest trends in bridal fashion. They understand the level of attention to detail that goes into every item sold and customer serviced. Top-performing associates strive to achieve their goals, are hands-on and build meaningful client care relationships.

Requirements
We want to talk with you if you are a team player who enjoys retail sales in a dynamic and professional environment. The highest levels of customer service and listening skills are essential. Retail sales/customer service experience is required. Candidates must be able to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced, custom-order environment. Bridal experience is preferred but not required. Strong customer follows up-skills are a must. Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes daytime, evening, and weekend.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Supporting and empowering brides in finding the perfect wedding dress for their wedding and other bridal party attire by utilizing their knowledge about current fashion trends, fit and body types, and alteration requirements.
  • Measure customers and recommend which size to order based on their body measurements, the style of dress, and potential alteration requirements.
  • Assist with the opening and closing of the store.
  • Enter special-order dresses into the computerized order system.
  • Follow up on current clients as well as leads generated from various sources.
  • Assist customers in picking up gowns.
  • Represent Ma Cherie Bleue at bridal shows and events.
    Participate in social media reels and content creations

Hours: 15.00 to 25.00 hours
